"It worries me, that a lot of temporary buildings resemble this architecture. Large and repeatable buildings, basically causing inhuman living conditions."
"It was important to me that the image had many focal points, multiple stories and clusters of activity as a city is a kaleidoscope of countless experiences."
"The idea of a cute but terrifying small monster just attracted me immediately. I wanted to place it in a basic 3D environment which was completely new to me."
"Growing up, I had this exact IBM-AT model with a PS/2 monitor, although I never owned that many games nor the MT-32 synthesizer."
"If you can challenge the viewer and his perception, even convey deeper ideas and truths, then that, for me, is true art."
"The empty frame is basically a projection screen for the viewer, meant to spark their imagination."
"As a huge fan of Scandinavian interior design, the theme was clear to me early on, visually speaking. But, I wanted to create something completely different from anything I’d done in the past!” "
"Of course it's hard to compete with big budget productions, but more important to us is to enjoy the creative freedom in exploring different forms of art direction."
The placement of what at first glance appear to be random objects not only constitutes overall composition, it also helps adding personality to a room.
"I’ve always been fascinated by old trains and planes. To me, they’re these giant, powerful pieces of metal machinery that, at the same time, indicate the passing of time in a peculiar way."
“I thought a female CG character would be a good starting point but wasn't too keen on modeling yet another busty, blond girl."
“I always try to lose myself within the scene, to envision not only what it looks like, but what it would feel like to actually live in that particular environment."
We're very happy to introduce to you our high-class RebusFarm 3D Artist of the Year 2017 jury! With their expertise in the 3D industry, they will take a close look at all our winners and elect the winner of the year, who will be announced at the end of December.
