How to submit a job with 3ds Max and Redshift renderer:

Open your scene on 3ds Max with Redshift renderer that you want to render online and open the render setup.

Under the “Time Output” section make sure to set if you will render online a single frame of an animation, then under the “Output Size” section, you will be able to define the render resolution.

You can go to the “Render elements” tab and add all the render elements you need for post-production. Or in the "GI" tab and the "Output" tab configure more redshift settings to get less noisy results.

In order to save your output return to the common tab and under the “Render Output” section make sure the “save file” option is checked and then click on “Files” to define an output name and rendering format.

Select the format, save path and set a name for the images you will render online and then click on “Save”.

In order to get a multilayered EXR, please select “OpenEXR” as output format and click on “Setup” to open EXR configuration.

Under the “Main Render Output” section, select the output format for your final image, also under the “Render elements” section, click on “Add” to manually the render elements you want to be included on your EXR file or check the option “Automatically add/remove Render Elements from Render Dialog” to include all the previously included Render elements, once you are done, click “Ok”.

Please close the 3ds Max render setup and click on “Render now” on your toolbar to open the Rebusfarm render setup window.

Please refer to How to submit a job using 3ds Max for more detailed information about each of the options of the RebusFarm setup window.

After configuring your RebusFarm settings, please click on the button “Upload to Rebusfarm” at the bottom of the RebusFarm setup window to send your job to render online.

A new window will be opened for RebusFarm messages showing all the relevant information, warnings, and errors your scene may have.

If you don’t get any error message, then please proceed to click on “Send to RebusFarm” to send your job to the render cloud.

RebusFarm will upload to the render cloud all the assets required for rendering, you can check the progress of the upload process and rendering by visiting the ControlCenter. Once the upload process gets complete, the rendering process will start automatically if you activated the “Autostar render” option before uploading, if not you will have to do it manually by clicking on the “Start render” button in the Control Center. For further detail about how to manipulate the Control Center please click here.

As soon as the job gets complete, your results will be automatically downloaded to the output save path that you set on your render configuration.
